Autonomous technology

Autonomous technology

Autonomous is a wide branch of new uplifting technologies in which machines can function without being told what to do by the person. A very basic example is an automated traffic light system but believes it is not easy r simple as you are estimating from the above example. From traffic lights to science fictional robots are all examples of an automated technology.

Autonomy or automation term self suggests the technique or method of doing human works by reducing human intervention to a minimum. Basically, it is a state of being automated in which a technology influenced machine is able to take a decision on their own, based on database instructions and also by finding a conclusion from the present state of being. For example: in driverless cars, the system just initially takes instructions from the guest for their destination and rest make all decisions automatically as it is suggested algorithmic data.

Strategic steps before implementing:

  1. Evaluating its benefits and roadblocks
  2. Take a strategic approach
  3. Identifying your unique challenge and then the type of automation technology
  4. Seek guidance from an expert
  5. Make the idea into work

Some real-life applications:

  1. Robots could become your smart and efficient co-worker
  2. Google search voice is an overwhelming example which along with artificial intelligence appreciates it.

Types of automation

  • Fixed automation:
  1. High initial investment
  2. Low unit cost
  • Programmable automation
  1. High investment
  2. Low production
  3. Most suitable for batch production

  • Flexible automation

  1. High investment
  2. Medium product rate
