INTERNET OF THINGS

Nowadays we are positively progressing in 21st century, almost all well introduced with the internet. It’s a pace of time where we can’t think of daily life without the use of the internet. This could be easily understood when we study the extension of internet connectivity into our physical world i.e. remote-controlled devices, virtual things and applications with sensors commonly renowned as
  INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT).


IoT is a joint network of all connected devices. These devices gather and store valuable information over the giant common platform offered by the internet. The emission of all information from the physical device is done with the help of embedded sensors in almost all physical devices and gathers data over IoT.

Internet of things categorize things into three wider categories:

  • Things with the ability to receive and sending data
  • Things with the ability to collect and send data
  • Things with the ability to collect receive and send data

IoT has exceeded the power of internet beyond smartphones and computers to a wide range of physical devices
IoT IS ever-growing network of physical objects which are laying the strong backbone to the modernized world.

Applications:


Smart home devices such as home automation, security system fire alarm heat sensor and more.
In the medical field such as digital record, monitoring health, analyzing health aid, prescribing medicine, emergency notifier and more.
In agriculture field: predicting the weather, the density of soil, water level indicator, and more.
Above are only some fields in which IoT plays a major role but many fields .so it would not be wrong to say that it has made a prominent space in our daily life.
